Vice President, Government Affairs

Tom Chapman is US Airways’ vice president, government affairs. He has 30 years of aviation-related experience in the government and legislative arenas. His responsibilities include US Airways’ federal lobbying efforts, regulatory issues and federal policy initiatives.

Prior to joining US Airways, Chapman was legislative counsel for Southwest Airlines. He also previously served as senior vice president for government and technical affairs for the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) in Washington, D.C.

Chapman is a graduate of the American University School of Law in Washington, D.C. and also is a graduate of C.W. Post College in Greenvale, N.Y.
