Elise Eberwein

Elise Eberwein serves as executive vice president, people, communications and public affairs for US Airways Group, Inc. and US Airways, its principal subsidiary company. In this role, Eberwein oversees human resources, strategic communications and the airline’s philanthropic initiatives and community relations.

Eberwein has more than 24 years of combined airline experience. She joined America West Airlines in 2003 as vice president, corporate communications, from Denver-based Frontier Airlines where she spent five years leading that airline’s media relations, employee communications, customer relations, community relations and government affairs activities. She began her career as a flight attendant for TWA and spent 11 years serving in various capacities at that airline.

She holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Colorado State University as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in mass communications from Lindenwood University located in St. Charles, Mo.
