You can make a difference in someone's life. Through Miles of Hope, you can donate your Dividend Miles to four national nonprofit organizations: the American Red Cross, Mercy Medical Airlift, Fisher House Foundation and Make-A-Wish Foundation®.
Since 1998, US Airways customers have donated over 700,000,000 miles. That's over 15,000 flights! Be a part of the tradition and give hope to Miles of Hope.

Thanks to US Airways and Miles of Hope, the American Red Cross was able to send over 125 health professionals from 40 states to the 2010 Health Leadership Summit. 'Without this generous donation of nationwide transportation, our volunteer nurses, doctors and EMTs wouldn't have been able to develop the leadership skills and expertise needed in ongoing Red Cross health disaster response and recovery,' said Sharon A.R. Stanley, Chief Nurse and Director, Disaster Health and Mental Health Services.

'The US Airways flight crew was awesome and they really took care of us during our flight. Once the pilot knew that Jennifer was with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, he asked her to take a picture with him in the cockpit when we landed in Hawaii. We're so grateful for this experience. Thank you.'

6-year-old Katherine Ryan is always happy, says her grandfather, William Glenn, even though she has Angelman Syndrome, a rare neuro-genetic disorder characterized by lack of speech, developmental delays and difficulties with walking and balance. Through Miles of Hope, Mercy Medical Airlift provided roundtrip tickets to Boston for Katherine and her family so she could take part in a promising clinical trial at Children’s Hospital. Mercy Medical Airlift Executive Director Jim Smith says US Airways 'continues to be the champion in public benefit flying. We’re blessed to be their partner in the charitable work of saving lives through the gift of wings.'

US Airways, along with Hero Miles, helps families travel to ceremonies honoring American service members killed serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. USMC Corporal Joe Wrightsman died trying to rescue a member of the Afghan National Police who was swept away crossing the treacherous Helmand River. All who knew CPL Wrightsman immediately thought, 'But Wrightsman can't swim!' Fortunately, America still breeds men with a bias for action who don't dwell on what they can't do. Many of Corporal Wrightsman’s large adopted family would have been unable to attend the ceremony honoring this American hero without support from US Airways and Hero Miles.
