What happens to my US Airways UATP card after merger close?
Upon merger close, there will be no immediate change to your existing US Airways issued UATP card. We’ll keep you up-to-date on enhancements, changes and updates as the programs combine in 2014.
Will I need to apply to be part of the American Airlines UATP program?
At this time, continue to use your approved US Airways UATP card.
Will I be issued a new walking card after the merger?
Your current US Airways UATP card will remain valid until program consolidation.
Will my ghost card number change after the merger?
At this time, there will be no change to your account or affiliated ghost cards.
How long will I be able to usairways.com/uatp?
The US Airways UATP website will be available and a key source of information throughout the program consolidation.
Will the agreement I signed still be valid after the merger?
Your current US Airways agreement will be valid after the merger.
Will the US Airways UATP Service Center phone number or email address change?
No, the existing UATP Service Center phone number (800-528-3819) and email address (email@example.com) will still be available.
Will the invoicing, billing or settlement process change?
At this time, your invoicing, billing and settlement will remain the same.
Will I submit payments to US Airways in the same way?
Yes, there is no change in the way you submit your payments at this time.
Can I still access my information and reports through the US Airways iReceivable website?
Yes, you’ll still have access to your account and travel data through the US Airways iReceivables website.
Where can I find the most current information on US Airways UATP changes as integration progresses?
We'll post updates on usairways.com/uatp and in these FAQs. We'll also mail and email important updates to you.
How will the airline communicate future program changes and enhancements?
Any program changes or enhancements will be provided on our websites, by email and through 'New with US.'
Will the ancillary charges I see through US Airways iReceivable reporting still be tracked post-merger, i.e. baggage fees, La Quinta Hotels, Choice Seats, etc.?
Yes, your US Airways iReceivable reporting will not change in the immediate future.
If I have UATP accounts with both US Airways and American Airlines, will I be able to view the combined data?
At this time, it will not be possible to view combined data.
If I have both carriers’ UATP cards which card should I use?
Continue to use the cards in the same manner as you do currently.
When will the two programs be merged into one?
Mergers take time and we anticipate the programs will merge in 2014, but circumstances may change this to a later date.
