Merger Update November
Last month, I wrote to you with a status update for usairways.com. Today, I’d like
to give you another brief update of where we are with moving to one Reservations system, what’s new and what’s coming up. We’ve also attached a couple of graphs that we use internally to measure
the success of the website. I think you’ll agree that we’re making good progress.
Moving to one Reservations system: Our "Res Migration" is still on track for early second quarter 2007. Remember that having two Reservations systems
(Sabre and Shares) is the source of many of the frustrations that you may encounter online, on the phone and at
the airports. We’re working hard to minimize those issues, and we’re not getting much sleep because of it, so
please know that we are as anxious as you to put Res Migration behind us.
Faster homepage: Our Web team has tweaked a lot of code resulting in some improvement, but we know that we
still have work to do on speed for the homepage and elsewhere.
Track your refund: In our Manage Reservations section (under Travel Planning on usairways.com),
you can check the status of your refund.
Here are some other
recent enhancements we’ve made.
We anticipate completing the following items over the next few months:
Upgrade using Dividend Miles: By popular demand, you will soon be able to pay for upgrades using miles from
your Dividend Miles account on US Airways flights booked at usairways.com. There will also be a new feature, which will
enable you to view fares eligible for transatlantic upgrades.
View and accept schedule changes: When a schedule change affects your reservation, we’ll allow you to confirm
those changes online.
Better route map: We just released an improved, interactive route map. Try it!
Performance Update on usairways.com
Since the launch in May 2006, the new usairways.com now generates over 25% of total US Airways’ revenue (up five points from the average of the former websites in 2005). Also since May, complaints per visitor on usairways.com are down over 50%.

Note: Comparable Customer Relations data for 2005 not available.
Once again, I want to thank you on behalf of all of us at US Airways for your loyalty. Every day we strive to make
all of your experiences with us as easy and pleasant as possible, and the website is no exception.
Thanks again for your support and continued patience throughout the merger.
We are working hard to earn your business every day.
With Warm Regards,

Travis Christ
Vice President, Sales and Marketing
