Reservations assistance

Phone reservations

To make a reservation by phone please call 800-428-4322. TDD/TTY assistance is available by calling 800-245-2966. When making your reservation, please inform the reservations agent of your special needs. Agents are trained to accommodate the special needs of our passengers. Ask them what assistance is available and inform them of how your needs can best be met.

In addition:

  • Advise the agent if you will be traveling with a service animal; or with assistive devices or equipment.
  • Inform the agent if you have a power wheelchair, and if so, what type of battery it uses. The most common battery types are lead cell and wet gel.
  • Tell the agent what type of assistance you will need in boarding and deplaning the aircraft and if you will be traveling with a companion to assist you.
  • Ask the agent about the type of aircraft intended for your flight. While US Airways operates an all-jet fleet, our commuter partners may utilize smaller aircraft to some cities. You should know what type of aircraft you will be flying on and if your particular flight can accommodate your special needs.
  • If your flight provides a meal, request all special types of meals at least 24 hours prior to your flight. View the Special Meals sample page.
  • To make a reservation for a group of ten or more qualified physically-challenged individuals traveling as a group, please call 800-634-2312.
  • Be sure to verify the availability of a jet bridge or ramp lift for boarding accommodations at each airport.
