US Airways files for China service

On July 16, 2007, we filed an application with the Department of Transportation for year-round, nonstop service between Philadelphia and Beijing, beginning in March 2009. We’d offer the first nonstop flight between Philadelphia and China and bring more choices for millions of passengers.

On August 2, 2007, we announced that over 40,000 supporters have signed our
online petition and we submitted our final filing to the DOT.
