Our company-sponsored Business Resource Groups are made up of people from similar backgrounds and are guided by members of the executive team. The Corporate Finance team is responsible for the oversight of financial forecasting, airline profitability analysis, fleet and labor analysis, and strategic planning. Duties include monthly financial review of business lines, preparing in-depth cause and effect analysis on a variety of complex financial issues, competitive industry analysis, analytical modeling and internal consulting.

The Information Technology team provides technology design and selection, technical support and training and strategic planning services to our business partners, helping to create a constantly improving experience for our customers and our organization.

The Marketing team is responsible for developing, implementing and communicating revenue-generating initiatives including flight scheduling and pricing, eCommerce, and advertising and customer communications.

Our Operations team is responsible for managing and improving the operational continuity of our airline. This business-critical team plays a lead role in developing, implementing and analyzing core operating functions and business models that drive efficiency, cost and passenger experience enhancements.

Suzanne Boda is a Woman Worth Watching! Senior Vice President, Airport Customer Service, International and Cargo, Suzanne Boda, was named as one of Profiles in Diversity Journal’s 'Women Worth Watching' for 2013. The publication’s September/October issue is dedicated to acknowledging the achievements and personalities of leading women executives. Ten executives, including Boda, were nominated by colleagues, peers and mentors for demonstrating initiative and earning achievements or accolades within their industries.

The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) released its 11th annual Corporate Equality Index (CEI) report and US Airways was one of the top-rated companies among more than 680 corporations.
We voluntarily participate in the annual report and improved our 2013 ranking of 90% over last year’s 85% score. Delta, Southwest, Virgin America, JetBlue and Alaska Airlines also scored 90%, while United and American scored 100%. The 10 points separating most airlines from a 100% rating are gender identity-related medical plans. (Our benefits department continues to review medical coverage policies.)
HRC also praised our business resource group, Spectrum, for positively engaging in lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community events.
LATINA Style magazine selected US Airways for the third time as one of the 50 best companies for Latinas to work for in the U.S. in its LATINA Style 50 Report for 2012. US Airways was the only airline included among the top 50 companies.
