US Airways is disappointed that the furloughs of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) personnel are causing delays and cancellations across the national air transportation system. We realize this is a big incovenience for our customers and employees alike.

The FAA has advised that furlough-driven delays and cancellations will likely occur throughout the our network with the most significant delays anticipated at the following airports:

  • Charlotte, NC (CLT)
  • Chicago, IL (OHare - ORD)
  • Fort Lauderdale, FL (FLL)
  • Los Angeles, CA (LAX)
  • New York City, NY (LGA)
  • New York City, NY (JFK)
  • Newark, NJ (EWR)
  • Philadelphia (PHL)
  • San Diego, CA (SAN)
  • San Francisco, CA (SFO)

US Airways will do everything possible to mitigate these delays for our customers. As always, we strongly encourage our customers to regularly check their flight status at usairways.com prior to leaving for the airport.
