Vice President, US Airways and President, US Airways Express

As President, US Airways Express, Flannery is responsible for oversight of US Airways' wholly owned regional carriers, Piedmont Airlines and PSA Airlines, as well as the seven regional affiliates that currently operate as US Airways Express. He manages over $3 billion in annual contract and operating costs and oversees 3,600 employees, a fleet of 295 aircraft and more than 1,900 daily departures. He reports to Chief Operating Officer, Robert Isom.

Since assuming his role, Flannery continues to lead initiatives designed to enhance coordination, efficiency and customer service levels across the Express partner operations. Previously, Flannery served as vice president, financial analysis for the newly-merged US Airways as well as vice president, scheduling and route planning for America West Airlines, a position he held since joining the airline in June 2002. He was also responsible for the airline's internet distribution division.

Prior to joining America West, Flannery held positions of increasing responsibility with Continental Airlines, most recently as senior director, long-range schedule planning.

Flannery holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising from the University of Texas-Austin and Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in finance from the University of Houston.
