Vice President, eCommerce, Mobile and Distribution

John Gustafson is vice president, eCommerce, mobile and distribution for US Airways Group, Inc. and US Airways, its principal subsidiary company. In this role, Gustafson oversees the company's global distribution systems as well as online channels, including and third-party travel agencies. Gustafson also leads web content strategy and user experience.

Gustafson joined US Airways in 2010 as director-distribution strategy and most recently served as managing director, eCommerce, mobile and distribution. In that role, he led the US Airways mobile efforts and championed the design and user experience strategy across all digital channels. He also oversaw and implemented distribution strategies that resulted in significant growth in US Airways’ direct online channel share.

Before joining US Airways, Gustafson spent 12 years at Northwest and Delta Air Lines in positions of increasing responsibility, most recently as director, distribution and internet strategy.

Gustafson earned his Bachelor of Science in Business, with honors, from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
