Senior Vice President, Operations Planning and Support

Kerry Hester is US Airways’ senior vice president, operations planning and support. Hester is responsible for operations planning and analysis and overseeing crew resources. She also oversees reservations and the strategy, planning and service recovery functions within customer service. Kerry reports to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Robert Isom.

Hester was formerly US Airways’ vice president, reservations and customer service planning, where she coordinated the overall customer travel experience, from booking their initial reservation to check-in; airport clubs; boarding and service recovery.

Prior to joining US Airways in 2007, Hester was managing director of employee engagement for Northwest Airlines. During her tenure at Northwest, she held numerous management roles, including manager of pricing analysis, manager of route planning, director of network planning and strategy, director of customer service airport operations and managing director of reservations sales and services. Prior to her experience at Northwest, Hester served as a staff consultant at Andersen Consulting and a marketing analyst at Aeroquip Corporation.

Hester graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Tulane University and she received her Master of Business Administration from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
