Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

Robert Isom serves as executive vice president and chief operating officer for US Airways Group, Inc. and US Airways, its principal subsidiary company.

Isom joined the airline in 2007 from GMAC, LLC where he last served as chief restructuring officer. Prior to GMAC, he was senior vice president, ground operations and airport customer service for Northwest Airlines. Isom also served as vice president, international for Northwest Airlines. Between 1995 and 2000, Isom was with the former America West Airlines and held executive roles in revenue management, operations and finance.

Isom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan.
