The TSA requires that all passengers provide the first, middle and last name, date of birth and gender exactly as it appears on the government issued photo ID they show at the airport.
If you have a Known Traveler and/or Redress Number, you must provide that information, too. We started collecting Secure Flight Passenger Data in August, 2009 to meet a TSA deadline.
Now, you can save your information in your AAdvantage® account. When you book travel on usairways.com or with our call center, we’ll use your updated information – just provide your AAdvantage number or log in when you book.
If you book with a travel agent or on another website, please book with the information exactly as it appears on the photo ID you show at the airport. Beginning November 1, 2010, any bookings with incomplete information are subject to being cancelled.
Do I need to enter my information every time I book?
Yes. However, if you store your information in your AAdvantage account, we’ll populate your information when you book on usairways.com or with US Airways Reservations.
How will my information be kept safe?
All personal information will be collected, used, distributed, stored and deleted in accordance with stringent guidelines and all applicable privacy laws and regulations.
