What is the qualification period for meeting the required thresholds to boost my Preferred status level?

The qualification period is January 1 through December 31, 2014.

How do I check my 2014 Dividend Miles Preferred qualifying miles and segment balance?

Log in to usairways.com and select the "Your account" tab. This page will display your YTD Preferred-qualifying miles and segments for 2014. Beginning in January 2015, your 2014 YTD balance can be viewed by displaying your January 2015 member e-statement.

What are the eligibility criteria for participation in the Preferred status renewal offer?

To be eligible for Preferred status renewal, you need to hold Chairman's Preferred, Platinum Preferred, Gold Preferred or Silver Preferred status in the Dividend Miles program valid through February 28, 2015. No additional flight activity requirements apply.

Customers who are receiving temporary Preferred status as part of a special challenge offer are not eligible for Preferred status renewal unless they successfully complete the special challenge.

Can I be eligible for both a Dividend Miles Preferred status boost and Preferred status renewal offer at the same time?

Yes. Depending on your Dividend Miles Preferred status level ending February 28, 2015, and your 2014 Preferred qualifying miles or segment balance, you may be eligible for two different offers.

If I hold Chairman's Preferred status through February 28, 2015, can I still renew my Chairman's Preferred status even if I don't end 2014 within 15,000 Preferred qualifying miles, or 15 segments of re-qualifying?

No. You will need to meet the required thresholds in order to be eligible to use this offer to retain your Dividend Miles Chairman's Preferred status.

If I hold Chairman's Preferred status through February 28, 2015, but don't have enough activity to retain it, can I boost to a different level?

Yes. As a Chairman's Preferred member, even if you have not qualified for any Preferred status level for 2015, you can boost your Preferred status to Silver Preferred or Gold Preferred; Or if you have qualified for Silver Preferred status for 2015, you can boost your Preferred status level to Gold Preferred.

If I do not hold Dividend Miles Preferred status for 2014, can I boost myself to Gold Preferred status?

No. As a non-Preferred status member, you may only boost yourself to Dividend Miles Silver Preferred status, provided you meet the required 2014 Dividend Miles Preferred qualifying balance threshold. You will not be eligible to use this offer to obtain Dividend Miles Gold Preferred or Chairman's Preferred status.

Do I need to be subscribed to US Airways email in order to participate in this offer?

No. Although you will need to provide an email address for your receipt.

If my 2014 Dividend Miles Preferred qualifying miles or segment balance changes after December 31, 2014, due to a delayed or missing flight posting, will that be taken into account when determining the offers that I am eligible to purchase?

Yes. Your offer eligibility will be determined based on your 2014 Preferred qualifying miles or segment balance at the time you make your purchase. It could take up to 3 days for your offer and pricing to reflect new or recently posted activity. Please be sure all flight activity is posted to your account prior to selecting an offer. Any changes to your 2014 Preferred qualifying balance after you have purchased an PreferredPreferred status offer will not result in a refund.

Once I've completed my purchase transaction, can I change my mind and request a refund?

No. Once your purchase is complete, the offer is non-refundable.

If I purchase the Silver Preferred status boost and later decide I would like to switch to the Gold Preferred status boost, is that possible?

No, this is not an option. Once you have purchased your status, it cannot be refunded or exchanged for a different status.

How long will it take for my Preferred status to be updated in my account after I purchase an offer?

If you purchased an offer for an Preferred status that is the same or higher than your current Preferred status, it will be effective within 5 business days of the purchase being completed.

If you purchased an offer for an Preferred status level that is lower than your current Preferred status, the effective date will be March 1, 2015 (after your current status expires), or, if the purchase is completed after that date, within 5 business days of the purchase being completed.

When will I receive my new Dividend Miles Preferred status card?

You will receive your new credentials within 4 to 5 weeks of the purchase being completed if you are boosting your status and complete the transaction before January 3.

If you purchased an offer for an Preferred status level that is lower or the same as your current Preferred status, or if you complete your purchase on or after January 3, your new credentials will be mailed after the Dividend Miles and AAdvantage programs combine in the second quarter of 2015.

If you purchased an offer in 2014 or January 2015 for an Preferred status level that is lower than your current Preferred status, your new credentials will be mailed after your current status expired and will be received by March 30, 2015.

I completed my Preferred status boost or Preferred status renewal transaction, but have since received a letter providing details of my actual qualifying Preferred status level. Does that mean my transaction did not go through?

No. This is merely an issue of timing. If your account is updated with your new Preferred status level on usairways.com and/or you have already received your new Preferred status card, please disregard the mailing regarding your qualifying status. Your account on usairways.com will be updated within 5 business days.

Who can I call if I have questions about this offer or my completed transaction?

Please contact US Airways Reservations at 800-428-4322

How can I tell if my transaction was processed?

You will immediately receive a confirmation number on your transaction screen, and a separate email will be sent to you with that confirmation number notifying you that your credit card was charged.

Which credit cards may I use to accept this offer?

You may use any valid Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover card.

Can someone else pay for this offer on my behalf?

Yes. The credit card used to accept this offer may be in anyone's name; it does not have to be in your name.

I have an AAdvantage account and a Dividend Miles account. Will the Preferred-qualifying activity in my Dividend Miles account be considered when determining eligibility for this offer?

Yes, but not until the two programs are combined in the second quarter of 2015. At that time, we'll add your Preferred-qualifying balances from 2014 to determine status valid through February 2016, as well as your balances from 2015 for status through February 2017. You will receive the resulting Preferred status membership and/or an Preferred status boost/renewal offer based on your combined Preferred-qualifying balances at that time.

How do I determine what my Preferred status should be when the AAdvantage and Dividend Miles programs are combined in the second half of 2015?

Can I get a refund if I purchase the Dividend Miles Preferred status boost offer and later qualify for the same status or a higher status on my own?

You can continue to qualify for Preferred status for the 2015 membership year through December 31, 2014. If you purchase now, a refund will not be offered if you should qualify on your own. Before making a decision to purchase, please consider whether or not additional travel before year-end could result in you earning a higher status.

Can I get a refund if I purchase the Dividend Miles Preferred status boost offer but earn that status, or higher, when the Dividend Miles and AAdvantage programs are combined in the second half of 2015?

No. Refunds will not be offered. If you have a Dividend Miles account, you can expect that your Preferred-qualifying activity from both programs will be combined by mid-2015, and you will achieve the resulting AAdvantage Preferred status membership at that time. We will add together your 2014 qualifying balances to determine status valid through February 2016, as well as your 2015 qualifying balances for status through February 2017. If you purchase an Preferred status through this program now, a refund will not be offered at the time your AAdvantage and Dividend Miles accounts are combined. Before you purchase, please consider the impact of any Dividend Miles activity you may have on your overall Preferred status.

Why aren't you offering an option to purchase Platinum Preferred status this year?

In the second quarter of 2015, we'll bring Dividend Miles into the AAdvantage Program. The AAdvantage program offers three Preferred status levels – Executive Platinum, Platinum and Gold. In preparation for the move to three Preferred status levels, you will not see an offer for Platinum Preferred status this year. Of course, customers who qualify for Platinum Preferred status on their own, will retain that status until the programs combine, at which time they will be mapped to AAdvantage Platinum status.

If I buy Dividend Miles Preferred status now, what will happen when Dividend Miles is combined with AAdvantage?

If you buy status now, you'll have the equivalent status in AAdvantage when Dividend Miles is combined with AAdvantage in the second quarter of 2015.
