The Transportation Security Administration (TSA), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and US Airways are working together to implement an expedited security screening initiative at select airports.
You must be a U.S. citizen or Canadian citizen enrolled in NEXUS. TSA determines eligibility and applies a random factor associated with security measures.
If you're a Dividend Miles member, you may be eligible to opt in. To find out if you're eligible, log in to your Dividend Miles account and go to your profile. If you see the 'opt-in' button at the bottom, select it and save.
Once you’re opted in, we’ll share your travel information with TSA each time you fly. If you see 'TSA PreCheck' on your boarding pass, you can use the expedited security lane if it's available in your departure city. We’ll also recognize your status when you fly United if you include your Dividend Miles number in your reservation.
The best way to become eligible for expedited security screening is to participate in a CBP Trusted Traveler program like Global Entry, SENTRI or NEXUS.
