The Transportation Security Administration (TSA), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and US Airways are working together to implement an expedited security screening initiative at select airports.
You must be a U.S. citizen or Canadian citizen enrolled in NEXUS. TSA determines eligibility and applies a random factor associated with security measures.
If you see 'TSA PreCheck' on your boarding pass, you can use the expedited security lane if it's available in your departure city. We’ll also recognize your status when you fly American Airlines if you include your Dividend Miles number in your reservation.
The best way to become eligible for expedited security screening is to participate in a CBP Trusted Traveler program like Global Entry, SENTRI or NEXUS.
