US Airways does not allow the creation of billable passive segment bookings for individuals or groups. If it is necessary to enter passive segments for itineraries or invoicing, you must use non-billable segment status codes.

If billable passive segments are booked, any costs incurred by US Airways resulting from the creation of these segments will be charged back to the responsible agency and a service fee will be added.

If you are holding billable passive segments, please be sure to use the XK status when canceling your segments. Use of an XX status will generate a cancel message to the airline and space will be cancelled. Billable passives are subject to debit memo and applicable service fees if booked without prior authorization from US Airways.
