Pick up and delivery

US Airways no longer offers ACI pick-up and delivery services. Each customer is responsible for scheduling their own pick-up and delivery requests and discussing billing options with local cartage companies.

Who can ship?

Shipments are accepted from known shippers and Indirect Air Carriers (IAC) only. Shipments from individuals are not accepted.

Cargo security brief

Due to enhanced TSA cargo security measures, US Airways will be increasing our security practices in order to comply with all mandated requirements. Listed below are requirements for shipping on US Airways:

  • US Airways will accept cargo from known shippers and Indirect Air Carriers that are operating with a TSA-Approved security program and have an US Airways Cargo account.
  • All shipments will be subject to inspection.
  • A complete and accurate description of the commodity being shipped must be documented on the airbill.
  • Shippers must have one valid form of government-issued photo identification; or two other forms of identification, one of which must be government issued.

New account procedure

US Airways can accept cargo only from known shippers and from Indirect Air Carriers that have a TSA approved security program. To be considered for a US Airways account, please contact the US Airways Cargo Contact Center at 888-300-0099.

International requirements

All shipments must be tendered on an international airline air waybill (AC-17D) or neutral air waybill in the IATA recommended format, minimum of 8 copies, 3 must be original copies.

  • A Shipper’s Export Declaration (SED) or 7525-V must be used for all export shipments when the declared value exceeds USD $2,500.
  • The shipper must provide any information and documentation required to comply with all customs regulations and other governmental regulations of any countries involved in the transportation of air cargo as outlined in The Air Cargo Tariff (TACT).
  • All cargo is subject to aviation security measures and must be packed in an appropriate way for carriage so as to ensure that it can be handled safely.
  • US Airways does not accept shipments that exceed $100,000 declared value (international) or articles of extraordinary value.
