Get PreferredAccess when you check in!

Save time at the airport with PreferredAccess. Enjoy priority check-in and security and be among the first to board − in Zone 1.

You can buy PreferredAccess when you check in online. You'll see the option if it's available for your flight. You can also come back to Web Check-in to buy PreferredAccess if you don't buy it the first time around -- just be sure to re-print your boarding pass!

A few things to keep in mind

  • You'll board in Zone 1 (after Dividend Miles Preferred, Star Alliance Gold and First / Envoy)
  • Your boarding pass is your ticket to PreferredAccess − you'll see 'Zone 1' and 'PrefAccess' on your paper or mobile boarding pass
  • PreferredAccess may not be offered for all flights − you'll see it when you check in if it's available

Changes and refunds

If US Airways cancels your flight, causes you to miss a connection or you're denied boarding on an oversold flight and we're unable to provide PreferredAccess, please call 800-428-4322 to request a refund.

PreferredAccess is non-refundable if you change, cancel or miss your flight.

Priority lanes for checking bags and security screening are not available at all airports. PreferredAccess is per person and is non-refundable and not transferable. PreferredAccess must be used for the date and flight you originally purchased. If you buy an upgrade, PreferredAccess will not be refunded. PreferredAccess will not expedite Customs. Overhead bin space is not guaranteed by PreferredAccess.
